In 1923 the company Artur Schmitz was founded.  The grandfather’s speciality of today’s company was gastronomy.  He managed to carry on the company through the war years.  In the 60’s specialised shops were added to his customer circle.  This also changed the demands on the range of goods.  The goal was to create a complete range of goods which were functional and practical for the preparation and storage of goods.  In 1988 the company changed its name to Küchenprofi.  Their motto is “name is routine” and an extensive range was created from standard kitchen aids to specialist articles like the truffel slicer.
