Knee Cushion

This cushion relieves pressure on heavy legs and feet and is ideal for use after knee and hip operations. The hip and knees will now be kept straight and that reduces the pain.  The cushion reacts to warmth and pressure.

The cover is removeable, made of 100% polyester and can be washed at 30°C.  There is no fastening band.

Description of material:
The viscose elastic material AktiVlex was orginally developed by NASA for the astronaunts to improve the pressure caused in spacecrafts. 

Today the material is widely used in comfort matresses, cushions and in hospitals and care homes.  The thermoactive material adjusts its shape slowly under the pressure of the body weight but does not create any pressure points.  When not under pressure, it goes back to its original shape.
