Circular Saw

With a massive 500 Watt, this small, easy to handle and almost vibration-free Westfalia electronic plunge cut circular saw will cut everything in situ. Thanks to the high rotational speed of 7000 rpm, the cut in the material is perfect and free of nicks and burrs – a more or less “surgical” quality. An ideal tool for any home improvement enthusiast or craftsman.

Applications: Laying or repairing Parquet, laminates, tiles, linoleum or any other flexible floor coverings, as well as plastics, wall tiles, aluminium etc, cutting slits in internal walls for pipe laying. Cutting pipes in copper or plastics for plumbing etc up to 150mm diameter.

Practical details:

Power/electronics: The 230V motor provides a power of 500W and a speed of up to 7000rpm. The patented electronics developed by Westfalia ensure a graduated start-up of the blade, which permits the safe and accurate guidance of the machine on the material.
Overload protection including red warning lamp when the cutting speed is too high. In addition the patented electronics ensure that the machine and the work piece are not damaged when accidental obstacles (such as nails, screws etc) are encountered. In this case the electronics stop the machine within milliseconds.

Continuously adjustable cutting depth:
Cutting depth is continuously adjustable from 0 to 12.0mm. This makes it easy to cut things, even on the floor, without damaging the surfaces below. This makes it practically unnecessary to use a table or workbench. The workpiece cannot bend or break, since it is fully supported, and the saw blade does not need to cut right through the material, or only to a very slight degree.
